Divine Consciousness

The simplicity of it is easy to miss.
The Light of God is real energy, or power.  "God is light," 1 John 1:5
The name of God is the Word of Power, the key, IT.
Jesus said we can be at one with God, even as He is, an astounding promise:
"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us..." John 17:22
Yeshua, the original name of Jesus, meaning he who helps,  strictly observed the Torah (law) as did every God-centered Hebrew man.  The great teachings given to Moses, by God, on Mount Sinai are called the Kabbalah.

As you experience higher consciousness, today, if you wish from this teaching, you will know the Light of God is real energy flowing through every cell in your body.
When we "call upon the name of the Lord,"
He will answer, when you learn to do it the way Moses taught it from the beginning - exactly the way Jesus taught it.  Many of his teachings are quoted from the Torah (Law of Moses).
       "
And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them." John 17:26 (Jesus last prayer on the Mount of Olives)  Why is the name of God so important, to declare it (make known to all) ?
"Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them."  Psalms 99:6
"The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe." Proverbs 18:10
IT IS THE EXPERIENCE OF CONNECTING TO GOD.
The KABBALAH teaches meditation.   Do a web search on Kabbalah meditation.  See ABBA in there? - the name Jesus said we should know.
        And he said, "
Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt." Mark 14:36
"My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD."Psalms 104:34
"Saying, What shall we do to these men? For that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it. But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name." Acts 4:16-17.  Who is saying this?  Look it up.
Jesus taught it, and as it is still being taught to rabbis, monks and priests of many faiths.
Many are telling us, they begin to see light, in many different ways.  Suddenly, these scriptures make perfect sense:
"...in thy light shall we see light." Psalms 36:9
"Christ shall give thee light."  Ephesians 5:14
"If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light."  Luke 11:36 (all red letters are Jesus speaking)
"But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him." John 11:10
"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."  John 8:12
"Ye are the light of the world."  Matthew 5:14

"Let your light so shine before men...,"  Matthew 5:16
Either we can take this as poetry, or fact, from Jesus, speaking simply of the Light, or Power of God.

"The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death, light is sprung up."  Matthew 4:16
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."  1 John 1:5-7

The references to the Light from Jesus, the early Christians, and the writer in Psalms, seem so clear, and so many tell us about the Light, perhaps it is a goal we should all hope for.  Some who are not visually oriented may not experience that, or it may just take time, later for some, sooner for others.  To some, it is very subtle, others, very real.
TRUE HEALING from the Light, the Fire of God happens for everyone.
If you feel negative, the name of God will work without fail, in a little while.  The Comforter will be there, every time.
In your patience, you will get real results - peace, joy from the soul, but above all, He promises we can be at one with God, even as He is.   Biblical references to the Light are at the bottom of the page.
Harvard Medical School concluded research in the 70's proving true meditation is a 4th state of consciousness - mentally alert while in a state of rest twice as deep as sleep.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."  Matthew 11:28-29

Whole cities got supercharged in the New Testament.  5,000 in one place, in one day, 3,000 another.
"Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand."  Acts 4:4
Someone long ago  - decided to keep it to the few instead.  Real meditation is a higher state of consciousness, with real changes in your state of mind and body.

        Tension evaporates, smoothly, surely, permanently.
You will soon know drugs and alcohol are artificial substitutes.
"Be still, and know that I am God:" Psalms 46:10
"Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is within," He tells us.
He teaches we can be at one (at-one-ment)with God, even as He is.  He explains it clearly:
"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."  John 17:21-23  Make sure you read the whole chapter.
         How?
"And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them." John 17:26

The ONLY DIFFERENCE?
The Detail is in HOW TO

The name of God is the highest, most powerful vibration in the universe. The only difference here is the original, correct way to call upon the name of the Lord so that His power flows throughout your being.
"...then began men to call upon the name of the LORD." Genesis 4:26
We are given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God.  Knowledge and experience go hand in hand.  Argument and discussion will never replace experience.  First, understand this key scripture:
"...his name is called The Word of God."  Revelation 19:13
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."  John 1:1  Seems John got right to it.
Starting to make sense?   Anyone can know At-one-ment, through the true meditation given by Christ.  This is our experience, and it is given freely.   You can start - today.

All you have to do is rediscover how to call on the name of the Lord the correct, original way it has always been done.
As you begin to achieve at-one-ment, you will know.  When you know, you know.  Everything Christ said will make perfect sense.  Have faith for a little while longer, and you will know.
"And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." Romans 5: 11  This is the only reference to it.
You will know what Christ meant when he told the woman at the well she would never thirst again.  "My cup runneth over."  the Psalmist tells us.
"In your patience possess ye your souls." Luke 21:19   This is the Way.
Hidden by some, it is easy to find in the scriptures when you have a CD that can do it in 30 seconds.  Get one and search the scriptures or use your index. This is the Truth.
There is no substitute for it. It has been there always. Notice it in italics in the scriptures.  You will see it repeated in the New Testament referring to the word, as in John 17.  Christ taught an easy, perfect way to connect to God - not an emotional, or intellectual effort - the way so simple that even teaching it to thousands was easy.
`       Thousands, who could not read; who had little money could do it, in one day.  Must be pretty easy to do.  This is the Life.

Important Scriptures

"So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name." Psalms 80:18
"For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent." Zephaniah 3:9
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  Romans 10:12
Why was Christ focusing so often on the name of God?  Why was Moses focusing on the name of God?
"And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14
"Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them." Psalms 99:6

`        When we "call upon the name of the Lord," there is no waiting, no skill to learn.  No one can improve on it.  It is an innate part of who you are.  Anyone can, any time...even a child.
Let's return to the source:  A young Hebrew lady went into the hills outside Jerusalem not long ago, sent by her Rabbi, to ask if she should be doing this.  The Tradition of Prophets is still there, with white robes, long hair and beards.  His reply:
"Of course you should.  We have been for thousands of years."
There have been monks, and priests, leaving a large church, and letting many people know, for centuries, the name they meditate on is Abba, pronounced as the A in Father.

This is the Name - the Word Christ gave us:
And he said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt." Mark 14:36
        KABBALAH
          ABBA
        Coincidence?
"For we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." Romans 8:15
"To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father." Galatians 4:6
The parable of the seed is ancient, and central to his teachings.

"And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have. Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it."  Luke 8:4-21
He made it so simple, a child can understand.  The Word of God is the Name of God.
There was no New Testament, until it was put together in Constantinople about 300 years later.  Essentially, the only people who could read in the area of Jerusalem were priests who rolled out the Hebrew Old Testament in the synagogue, and Roman officials.

As we look at the Old Testament, it is clearly explained there, too.
"After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." Genesis 15:1
God made it clear to Moses His name is I AM.  Is it coincidence when Christ says: (changed for effect)
"I AM come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
I AM the light of the world.
        I AM the good Shepard.
I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life.
I AM the God of Abraham.
I AM with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
I AM the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
        I AM the true vine.
I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending.
        I AM that door.
        Before Abraham was, I AM."
Is this an attempt to hide it?  Christ plainly said He declared the name of God.  IAM is one of them.  We have not been given that correct pronunciation.

Word means word?

"Remember the word that I said unto you."  John 15:20
"Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word." John 8:43
"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;" John 17:14
"I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. "John 17:6
Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?" John 10:34 (He is quoting from Psalms 62:8)
"He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." John 14:24
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20
         Other references:
"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them, which heard the word." Acts 10:44 (One of several delineations separating words from word.)

"And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world."John 4:41
"And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power." Luke 4:32
"And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out."Luke 4:36

SOUND WORDS

We all know the effect of sound.  Scratch your fingernails across a chalkboard.  If there is a highest, a most divine sound, it will be the name of God.  It will have that powerful, divine effect on you.   If you tap the note on the piano "A" you hear the sound. It can be written, or spoken, yet neither is the actual note.  You must keep tapping that note, to sustain the actual sound.  Same here.  It is not an emotional or intellectual experience.
It can be written and spoken as ABBA (not abbuh). Pronunciation is important. The name of God is a sound, with no meaning to contemplate.  It is a very specific sound.  Pronunciation is important.  It sounds like the A in father. It is not chanting, out loud, but bringing that sound deep into your soul and spirit, the form of a sound word, as easily as a thought, not concentrating.  This is not a trance or self hypnotism.
         These are sound/words.
"Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus."   (form of!)   2 Timothy 1:7
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world." Romans 10:17-18
"For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing." (Wow!) 1 Thessalonians 1:8

Let's Start NOW

        1. Start the day with 20 minutes.  Don't rush into it. Be reverent. No large meal before, a small bit if you are really hungry. Wait 2 hours if you have a large meal.  Meditation is receiving God's blessing, His power; prayer is before or after.
"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Matthew 5:6
Stop the phone, just for 20 minutes, and turn off all machines and electronics.
Sit quietly with eyes closed for at least 3 minutes before starting. Avoid tight fitting clothes; move when you need to be comfortable.  Wait for strenuous exercise before and after.  Later, you will have much more energy.  Avoid stimulants before, like caffeine.  Consciousness altering drugs make you fall asleep - clear the system with 1/2 purple grape juice/water.

         2. Like tapping a note on the piano, to sustain it, only mental repetition sustains the sound, deep in your mind, a sound with no meaning to contemplate.  Within a few minutes, in that easy quiet time, not lying down, or leaning your head against anything, easily as a thought, mentally repeat Abba (abbabbabbabbabbabba). Notice how the sylables blend into the next.  Do not speak it out. Your whole being will be effected with the most divine sound in creation.
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."  Hebrews 4:12
In a few minutes, you will begin to relax, and when you find the mind has gone to other thoughts, return easily to that sound.  When the Light goes through your spirit, soul and body, it is like steam rising under the sun.  As the negativity LEAVES it is like that steam, the mind is in thought, and then we easily realize, we are in a daydream-like experience.  You have been sucessful.  Then, easily, we return to calling upon the name of the Lord.return easily to that sound.
Research from many sources has proven the metabolism slows down 16-20%, twice as deep as sleep, yet we remain awake, in Beta and Theta brain waves.  You will find rest, rather than some exciting experiences.  You will find the deepest stillness, and peace that passes all understanding.  You will find joy.  It will become clearer and deeper through the years.

        3. You will experience the name of God as a sound, a vibration, in your patience.  Aways try to meditate with someone when you are starting for the first time, hopefully with someone who is already doing so, who can answer questions. "For where two or three are gathered..." it is easier.  You will find meditating with large groups a truly amazing experience. Large groups do magnify the name.
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20
Starting on your own works, when  you are patient.  It is always easier when someone near your is already letting their light shine!  Your first meditation will be very restful.

        4. It is the nature of the mind to have many thoughts.  When we are not following logic, but a sound, in the mind, we go beyond intellect and emotion.  It is connecting to your soul and God.
You will begin to relax in daily life, and sleep better.  The practical aspect is, students grades go up without extra work, blood pressure goes down, and healing is so much faster, not to mention, your IQ increases.  When evening comes, get ready for more.  Enjoy the whole day.  You will feel strength.  Your memory will improve.  Starting on your own may not seem to be as effective, but it will work, if you are patient.  The longer you meditate in one place, the better it gets.  Temple?

        5.  When 20 minutes have passed, peeking at the clock, wait 3 minutes before opening the eyes. Speaking the name of God (as the Old Testament rabbis said, it is Holy) it is like pulling that seed from the ground.

        6.  Meditate morning and evening, 20 minutes, every day.
"Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof." Matthew 13:31
If you do this every day, you grow even faster.  Twice a day!  In a few meditations, you will be a new creature, in a year, a disciplined individual.  When the pendulum swings to deeper rest, we are ready for a full swing into the day. Wait a while, until you feel ready for strenuous activity. Too much meditation will slow down your metabolism.

        7.  Study the book of Acts to see the results on others who become new creatures.
This is a new life.  Find the company of others who know.  Make every attempt to meditate once a week in a large group, witness the 5000.  Communion is also defined as: "Interchange or sharing of thoughts or emotions."  Sunday is the day.  "In your patience possess ye your souls." Luke 21:19

        8.  Don't meditate for more than 20 minutes.  After some years, you will know more.  After about 8-9 pm, refrain, because you won't go to sleep for hours. If you need to stay awake all night to study, a third meditation is OK, but not on a regular schedule. If you are ill, you may meditate an extra one, but, not permanently. Fresh air is important.  If interrupted, wait 3 minutes to open the eyes, and then finish later.

The Light of God

        9.  As the fire burns brighter, you will burn more calories, your body will begin to normalize, closer to the perfect pattern given to us by God as we sit in mediation.
"Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself."  Phillipians 3:21
"There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." 1 Corinthians 15:42
        The Light changes both.
"God is light," 1 John 1:5
"The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up."  Matthew 4:16
Have you ever seen anyone put their finger on the forehead as a sign of the cross?
"The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light."  Luke 11:34-36
"Ye are the light of the world." Matthew 5:14
"Let your light so shine before men,"  Matthew 5:16
You will radiate the Light all day.
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."  1 John 5-7
"Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light." John 12:36
"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."  John 8:12
"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."  John 9:5
"He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light." John 5:35  (Jesus referring to John)
"But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him." John 11:10
"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light,"  Acts 26:18
"That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." John 1:9
"The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up."  Matthew 4:16
"To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.  Luke 1:79
"He that loveth his brother abideth in the light." 1 John 2:10
"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?"  Psalm 27:1
"For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light."  Psalm 36:9
"O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD." Isaiah 2:5
"The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."  Isaiah 9:2

Make sure you get colloidal minerals and full non-artificial vitamins in your diet.  This is  important! Deep ocean fish is the best choice for protein, pond fed - who knows what?  According to Harvard Medical School, "Avoid bad cholesterol."  Cow, pig, and other large animal fat cells 10 times larger than yours, cannot pass through the ends of your capillaries - raising blood pressure.

Many tell us they feel the witness of the Spirit, strongly while reading this.

Can you imagine someone telling you not to call upon the name of the Lord?
IT IS THE HOW TO THAT MAKES THE ONLY DIFFERENCE.
Covered up again and again for 2,000 years, it will be argued.
No one will be able to change your experience.

"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."  Revelation3: 8
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" Luke 11:12
It will become clear why early Christians were willing to give their life to Christ, even to die.

The Kingdom of Heaven IS within.
You will experience joy, peace - a little bit of heaven.  At-one-ment is knowing the vastness of the Kingdom.  You will find stress disappearing permanently.
Certainly there are other names of God.  Abba is the one Jesus gave us.  Many native Americans say the name of God is WehYah, same as YahWeh in the eyes of any true Rabbi, if you know the correct, exact pronunciation.  According to James Adair who lived with the Chickasaw Indians in Mississippi from the 1730's on, and published a 40-year account with them in 1775, a Rabbi named Mannasah Ben Israel from London returned from a stay with the Incas and said:
"Every word, every custom is Jewish."
This discourse is given with all respect and honor due our Hebrew teachers.  I have merely assembled the puzzle, the pieces fitting so perfectly, and so many telling us about the Light.
